Beaded snowflake necklaces are fun and adaptable. They make sparkly and festive jewelry and gifts. And you can create them yourself, for very little expense.
Why not make beaded snowflakes for necklaces (or ornaments) in white, blue or any color you like, using a simple wire snowflake frame, some crystals and colored fire polish beads. Design your snowflake pattern, laying out the colors and sizes of beads you want to use. You can make every spoke identical, or every other one identical, or all different.
Just place one bead after another on the table in front of you, and move them around until you like the sequence. Then you can bead them on the snowflake form in that sequence. (Of course you could always design it as you go!) Bead the hub of the snowflake at the center first.
These beads go at the top of each spoke where the spokes are close together, so place them first on all the spokes to make sure they fit in the hub. Then complete beading each individual spoke on the next step. ... more.
Snowflaking! This is an easy, relaxing, and rewarding project. These make great tree decorations and teacher gifts.
Arrange your beads in a pleasing order. This is probably the most time-consuming part of the project, but lots of fun. When you're happy with your arrangement, put the beads onto one arm of the snowflake, leaving about half an inch empty at the end of the arm.
Wrap a piece of masking tape on the end so the beads won't fall off. Put the beads on the remainder of the snowflake arms, securing with masking tape as you go around. Leave a little extra open wire at the end of one arm to allow for a hanging loop.
Place the snowflake on a flat surface and squeeze a small amount of glue under the last few beads on each arm of the snowflake. Let dry. (Diamond Glaze takes several hours to dry.) When it's dry, trim the excess wire off the ends of the arms.
With the pliers, bend the end of the longer arm into a loop, then attach a loop of string or ribbon for hanging. More.
This will help you make that necklace, and make it successfully! First, choose what beads you want to use, and in what pattern. It's very helpful to plan this in advance, rather than just working it out as you go along.
Next, decide how long you want your necklace to be. Add a few inches to that. If you want to make your necklace more secure, double the string or wire.
Tie the clasp on one end. Make sure to cut your excess string or wire short or tuck it under the first few beads for a neat look. If you are simply using a repetitive beading pattern and know you have enough beads, you can just start beading until you reach the end.
If you are putting something in the middle, or making a pattern with a central point, place all of your beads next to your string or wire until everything is measured out. This way, you can avoid reaching what you think is the center of your necklace, but it is really too far to the right or left. Once you're ... more.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
