How long can a Pleco fish go w/o eating?

Since we switched our Pleco to the large tank, I have not seen him eat. We are assuming he is eating at night, but it did get me thinking. How long can they go with out eating.

We feed him one Algae tablet a day and feed the tank reg flakes twice a day (just a tad). In the small tank, I often would see him sucking on the tablet, but he does not do that in the large one. He spends most of his day hiding in his new log or behind the tall plants in the back.

They don't get to eat constantly, so they gorge themselves when the chance comes.14 days is too long for fish to survive in an aquarium. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
