We never have to wonder JUST READ THE HOLY BIBLE they represented the faithful Jews - 12,000 from each of the twelve tribes the numbers are not literal but rather heavily symbolic Rev 7:1 Then I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds so they did not blow on the earth or the sea, or even on any tree. Rev 7:2 And I saw another angel coming up from the east, carrying the seal of the living God. And he shouted to those four angels, who had been given power to harm land and sea Rev 7:3 "Wait!
Don't harm the land or the sea or the trees until we have placed the seal of God on the foreheads of his servants." Rev 7:4 And I heard how many were marked with the seal of God—144,000 were sealed from all the tribes of Israel: Rev 7:5 from Judah 12,000 from Reuben 12,000 from Gad 12,000.
Those were the JW's who joined the cult before it had grown to a couple hundred thousand. Then they had to change the story and made it so that the "anointed" would be in heaven and all the other JW's who joined later get to be slaves on Earth or some such nonsense.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
