I had the same problem my parents thought I would lose interest after a week and I have had my horse now for 5 years (: so research when you w ant to sleep research and whenever anything comes up compare it to horse if you’re in a car don’t talk when they ask what’s wrong just say oh nothing in just imagining riding my horse e.. you knew something like that go to your school library and say ( to the parent that is more agents you horse riding) tell him you got a book on horse riding keep a horse page link up on your computer and whenever you hear him/her coming put the page up! IT ALWAYS WORKS! I ASKED MY DAD HE SAID THAT’S WHAT GOT HIM SEEING HOW COMITED AND HOW INTERESTED I WAS!
And print of a diagram of a horse (lab led ) study it then go to the e stricked parent and get him/her to test you (better if you got most of the questions right) and don’t give up on horses like my brother would call me a horse nut he tagged me in Facebook page that would say "there always one crazy horse loon in the family" and stuff like that and I just wrote "well I love horses and in not ashamed" and I over heard him telling dad that I stayed that and he stayed well that’s good she’s interested.IT SOUNDS DUMB BUT ALL OF THIS WORKS! HOPE THIS HELPED! ---horseloverxox.
I haven't read the other answers yet so I apologize if I repeat some: I'm a parent of 6 kids and if my kids wanted to convince me to get them a horse (we'll assume that I don't already own 5 horses lol) here is what I personally would expect to see: 1. Good grades in school (A's, B's, maybe a C+) 2. Responsibility in the home- do you help them out?
Your room usually clean? Can they trust you?) 3. Trust (do you have a habit of lying?) 4.
Respect (do you back sass your parents and how often? This is a major factor for many parents!) 5. Do you follow through?
Basically, do you have a history of wanting things and losing interest quickly? Now, here are some good arguments for you to present to them: look up statistics that show kids involved in sports are less likely to get into trouble, get bad grades Kids involved are more likely to make smart choices, have a higher self esteem Here's the tricky part- what are you willing to give up for a horse? Maybe go without new shoes, get a small job doing something age appropriate, etc (you see where I'm going here).
As a parent I want to see that my kid understands the responsibility of what they want. This is a good way. Show that you are willing to make a personal sacrifice for what you want.
Ok, I know its a lot but as a parent that is what I expect from my kids. I don't want them thinking things just get handed to them :) also keep in mind your parents finances. Even if they want to get one, they may not be able to.
Handle it maturely and they may find a way in the future. Good luck.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
