How to restore a computer to factory settings?

IMO the only reason to do a complete system restore is if you have some serious problems. Like if a virus is making your computer crash. First you can try doing a disk cleanup.

You might just have alot of temporary files. Also try downloading Advanced System Care Free from Download.com. It will clean up your cookies and junk files which in turn will make your computer faster.

Also you might not have a lot of ram and skype is a very big program so it can be making your computer slower. Try those first before you do an unnecessary system restore.

It will wipe the harddrive including any info saved in the MyDocuments folder and any software you have installed. It will then restore the computer to the state it was in when you took it out of the box. If you need any documents saved from the computer be sure to copy it onto a USB drive before you do a factory restore.

If it has slowed down because of some software you installed or it became infected by a virus then a factory restore will fix it.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
