Was going to stay home, but just had late change in plans..
Going to a party with my frat brothers from 25 years ago.
I will just pray that May God turn my dreams true in 2011 and make it more successful for me than all my previous years.
Well, last year, one of my New Years Resolutions was to have someone to kiss at midnight, it appears I've somehow managed it, so I'll be doing that most likely. Then I'll probably go home, and watch the giant Twilight Zone/Doctor Who marathon on television.
By staying home and celebrating our life, rather then getting hit and killed on the road by a drunk driver.
I will be babysitting like every year lol but I don't mind. It is much safer and it is a blast. I couldn't ask for a better way to spend it then with Aunt Nin's babies!
Happy New Year everyone... :).
I'll be home. I'll toast the New Year with a glass of something fruity and then watch the Twilight Zone Marathon with Lijah and send him emails at all the good parts! Happy New Year to one and all!
What I bring in the New Year in with is NOT for any ones ears..
Honour New Year's traditions. Sharing meals with your family is an important tradition in Brazil and Greece, and New Year's Eve bonfires are held in Panama and Scotland. In English-speaking countries, the song "Auld Lang Syne" is sung at midnight.
Other interesting New Year's traditions include smashing old plates on your friend's doors in Denmark, eating twelve fruits at midnight in the Philippines, and eating black-eyed peas for luck in the United States. Christians all over the world hold a traditional "Watchnight", "Midnight Mass", or "Eucharist" church service on New Year's Eve. Whatever New Year's traditions your country or family has, consider partaking in them this New Year's Eve.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
