What is your plan to celebrate the New Year's Eve this year?

I'm hoping for a labor :D ..well hopefully a short labor like last time. (My first son was out in 1 hour 28 minutes flat) I'm actually due jan. 19th but I'm a gestational diabetic, my baby has already dropped and my amniotic fluid is dropping rapidly. Chances are they are going to want to induce sometime this week.

I'm going to ask for New Year's eve if induction is there medical recommendation. Would just be a neat birthday to have.. the whole world is in celebration.

We have a long standing New Year's eve tradition. We never venture out for one thing it's to cold and then there are all the drunk drivers out there. So we plan a bunch of yummy junk food snacks.

Then we play what ever video game we bought that year for Christmas. Last year it was PS2 and this year it is the Wii. We have a huge marathon tournament that usually results in my son falling asleep long before midnight.

My friend is going to merry this New Year's Eve, I will go to celebrate this but the bridegroom is not me .... lol.

I'm going over to visit some friends. We have a bit of a routine -- we go out to dinner, maybe see a light show (I'm not sure whether that's happening this year, but I hope it does -- it's always pretty fun) and then go back and hang out waiting for the ball to drop. And then after that I'm staying over to watch the finale of Doctor Who the next day.

Nothing wild or anything, but should be fun.

Spend time with my family, with all these recent deaths of celebrities on the news; you realize more how vulnerable your life is. I appreciate my life more.

My best friend passed away the day before thanksgiving so my plans this year will have to change. We use to get a whole group together of the people we've known since highschool then go to Cicero's, its an amazing pizza place in St. Louis. I think this year I'll cook like crazy, have a huge dinner with my husband, then go out to one of the many parties we are always invited to.

I like playing designated driver for the night so I know everyone gets home safe.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
