I am looking to buy a long zoom digital camera, point and shoot and I am looking at the Sony DSC H9. Any comments I need anti-shake, clear zooms, not too heavy. We love our birds in the back yard and I want pictures.My 4X zoom doesn't do it and I want to be able to take action shots of my grandchildren.

Cameras I'm not familiar with that camera but the specs look good as long as you can live wit a unit that uses memory stick cards instead of SD cards. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
