I dyed my hair dark brown but I want it light red how to I get my hair lighter without using bleach?

If you already put haircolor on it, you have an artificial color on your hair, you HAVE to use bleach otherwise it will turn out like crap.

Hair bleach is fine to use in your hair, so is the hair color remover kit. If you wanted a funky color like pink or blue etc...I would use bleach, if not that remover should work. My brother is a stylist, and I have been dyeing my hair for years...

Use L'Oreal's Hair Color Remover kit. I used this to go from brunette to blonde and the blonde turned out very well. Remember after using this kit, your hair will probably be an orange-ish color but it's not color, it's the hair follicle with color removed and is actually a blank canvas for the new color.

I used the kit then blow-dried my hair and let it sit for 1-2 hours then re-dyed with the blonde and it turned out very natural-looking. My friends were impressed! You might want to do a deep-conditioning treatment about a week afterwards, dying your hair does damage.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
