I got an email from PayPal saying to "Square up with PayPal". Is it safe to install it on Facebook?

I would suggest keep paypal out of all information possible. Paypal is like a leech once they lach on they get all your info and who knows what they use it for... I would not trust anything to do with paypal. Don't bother.

Mike!

I have to say that it sounds an awful lot like a phishing scam to me. First, PayPal shouldn't know that you have a Facebook account. At least I am fairly certain they would have no fair way to know that information.

Of course PayPal has a habit of sending out mass advertisements, so you may have gotten one for Facebook by chance. Second, I cannot find anything on PayPal's site about a Facebook Application. I would expect that they would be promoting a legitimate app on their own site.My suggestion is to forward this email to PayPal.

Https://paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=xpt/Mar... They have listed an email address just for these kinds of problems. It is [email protected]. Then I would delete the message.

As a rule Paypal hasn't learned there place yet. There site is literated with doubleclick scripts and first party crap that forces you to be tracked like a dog with horrids of cookies. Not to mention I don't even understand what your talking about.

Like a donation link you can put on your page or something? There's been an html/javascript thing you can cut and paste from paypal under your account settings that has been able to do this forever so unless they have rebranded this feature as some sort of plugin I'd wait and see before jumping on the proverabily band wagon.

I'm actually not sure how secure this deal really is. I've found information on the deal from Facebook, but not on the Paypal site itself. I don't like the idea of having to install some app to get paypal integrate correctly with a site like facebook.

That's something Facebook should offer all by itself, if required. I wouldn't install it, if I had a facebook-account. I don't trust it.

It depends on whether the email is really from paypal. Com, which you can check by examining the email's header. If the "From:" field ends with "paypal.Com", then yes it's an authentic email from paypal.

If the email is not really from paypal. Com, then it's not safe.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
