I have a Onkyo TX-SR304S 5.1 Channel Home Theater Receiver and I am wondering if I get a sub, will it be able to run it?

It requires an amplified subwoofer. The answer is yes and no. Yes, you can run a subwoofer.No, you cannot run the subwoofer directly from the receiver, as it does not have speaker level outputs for a subwoofer, only a single RCA jack: This is the rear panel from the receiver you're describing.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
