I have a panasonic DMC TZ5, 9megapixel camera,im using a lexar 256MB sd card, but it will only hold 43 pics, why is that?

1 I looked up your camera -it should hold at the very least an 8GB SD memory card , IT SHOULD HOLD several thousand pictures taken at the highest resolution, more if you reduce the # of mega pixels per photo , I do not have exact #'s so all the info here is approximate, YOUR 256mb card has very little storage capacity and you see a great difference with even a 1 or 2 GB CARD.

Same applies to the camera as the new one has more MP, so each file takes more room on the card. As far as the # per card, it will vary a bit by the camera and by the way the file is being saved, as there are a wide range of levels normally you can selelct to save it. So you know, if you are a Costco member, Costco.com had a great deal going.

A 2 pack of 4gb sd cards by HP for $20. That is a great deal, and will give you a total of 8 gb, and allow you to rotate the cards, so that should anything happen you got a backup card, as well as you won't have all the images for 1 trip or event all on 1 card so the risk of losing them or them being deleted is a lot lower that way.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
