I have light brown-to-dark blonde hair naturally, I have been getting alot of highlights but want to go all over blonde?

I have light brown-to-dark blonde hair naturally, I have been getting alot of highlights but want to go all over blonde! I have been getting highlights for about a year now and recently I asked my hairdresser to do all over blonde because everytime I got highlights it just wasnt light enough for me. Somehow she talked me out of it.

But thats not all! She also likes to only put the highlights on the top and doesn't continue the dye to the tip of my hair..... and also doesn't run any dye thru the bottoms in the last few minutes. So I was left with blonde on top, and faded brassy old blonde on bottom.

I went to another hairdresser ( because the first one wouldnt do what I wanted to fix it ) and I am still not happy. I still have highlights and its still not blonde enought for me. And to top it all off both hair dressers sucked and didn't get my highlights close to my scalp so I am freshly coloured but I have like a half inch root everywhere except on the very top of my head.

How the heck do I go all over blonde and do it evenly because I have so many colours in my hair! Asked by jazzyT 18 months ago Similar questions: light brown to dark blonde hair naturally alot highlights Lifestyle > Beauty.

A real stylest would fix your hair the way you want it and not charge you for their mistake. My daughter is a stylist and would never ever let anyone leave unhappy! Sorry about your problem I could see that happen at a school but not a real salon.

Get a new stylist and tell them what happened, you should never leave if you are not happy you paid for the service and it is their job to make you happy. Talk to the salon owner if you have to..

Advice from a veteran find a hair-color specialist and tell them what you want. You might have to spend more money on it, but at wal-mart and perfect look they don't teach you how to do color. What will need to be done is that you will need to have the mid-shaft of the non-blonde hair saturated with color or bleach whichever is most appropriate.

Towards the end you will need the color/bleach on the scalp and ends, processing till desired level not color, I would personally use a basic white bleach with 30-40 volume peroxide and then tone. I would not go all one shade of blonde however, I would either do a platinum blonde with golden highlights or vice versa. Bleaching and toning will insure that the underlying tone in your hair is the same, making it so that you hair is more even and you don't end up with 45 shades of blond.

Of course, this will alll depend on the condition of your hair also. A good colorist will NOT over-process the hair how you can tell a good colorist!. Sources: 15+ years of coloring hair .

1 Ugh. It sounds awful. Maybe you need to find a higher-quality salon.

You're paying and they should do what you're asking. I'm thinking that they don't know how to do it. They would have to strip your hair a bit before coloring it.

You need to find a good salon. Maybe you could walk around and stop into salons and ask if they could handle turning you blonde. This shouldn't be that difficult to do, especially since your hair is light already.

2 They are doing your highlights properly... If they do it the way you want it , you will probably wind up stripped and they know it. As for going all blond, it will depend on your red pigmentation in the hair (you do not have to be redheaded to have red pigmentation) They will not be able to bring it down enough to make you really BLOND! Without the possibility of you loosing all or most of your hair.

These people are professionals, they have been trained to see what you don't know. Your best bet is to go to the BEST (most expensive) shop in town and ask them IF your can be brought down to total blond? Be ready to pay because they will have to have a good insurance policy should they try it.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
