I just purchased a new 07 Honda Accord and the alternator has to be placed, I've had the car for 7 months, is this bad?

1 It sounds like you either got a lemon or just a faulty alternator. I bought a new '06 Accord in May of '06 and have had no problems with it. If you have other problems, I hope your state has a "lemon law."

If its just the alternator, I'd hope it would be under warranty and they'd fix it for nothing. Honda seems to be very concerned about keeping their customers happy, so I'd think you wouldn't have any trouble.

2 Shyte happens. You got a bad alternator. If this new one fails again, then its time to worry.

If not, don't sweat it - Hondas are great cars. Its an electircal component. Sometimes, they crap out.99% of hte time, they are fine.

You got one of the 1%ers...

I don't know what to do, I bought the car for $40,000 a year ago and now it is worth $19,000 if any. Carmax wouldn't even take the car to their shop, they ask me to take it directly to the dealer, which is a higher deductable. Carmax advertises they have the cleanest used cars on their lots.

Then why am I always driving the rental car provided by the warranty I purchased? Thank god I did. Carmax even has a DEMO car in the showroom with body damage.

They explain they will never sell us such cars! I hope someone can join me and find a way to stop carmax from deceiving the consumer.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
