There are a few organic, natural shampoos on the market for dogs that are particularly formulated for dry skin and coat. Check them out, they are quite reasonably priced.

Take your dog back to the Vets. Your Vet will tell you what you should or need to do. One of my dogs has allergies so the shampoo we use is called MalAcetic.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
