I need some 30's & 40's humor. Anyone know of a good compendium or collection of jokes and bits... I am a child of the 40's but I want some bits and humor that would be comfortable, funny, and familiar to seniors. I recognize the best bits ("Slowly I turn... or "Who's on First..." when I hear them but I would love a good source or two so I can get them back into my head.Thanks.

1 Surely you remember Mae West's most famous line: someone admired a new ring she wore. The stone was very big. The admirer said "Goodness!" at the size of the stone.
Mae West replied, "Goodness had nothing to do with it. " More like this at celebrityfireworks.com .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
