I need someone good at editing, correcting grammar and punctuation to look over my rough draft? thanks!?

Some of the corrections are just stylistic, so you don't really have to change them if you don't want to. In the 3rd paragraph, it is not true that he too could be charged for manslaughter. My name is Eric Kurtz and I have a a friend named Joe Grayner who has a problem.

Joe seemed to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. He witnessed a murder being commited as he was walking home from work. Police arrived at the scene and arrested the suspect.

Now the police are asking Joe to testify in court against the suspect since he was the only witness of the murder. Joe usually minds his own business and doesn't get into trouble. He doesn't know whether to testify against the suspect in court or to refuse to testify against him.

Joe has a serious problem. If Joe decides to go into court and testify against the suspect, there will be consequences as there are with any decision. There are both advantages and disadvantages to a choice to testify against the suspect.

The only advantage if Joe testifies is that the suspect will be brought to justice and possibly go to prison. The suspect could serve easily 25 years to life in prison for murder. It would be right thing to do, however of course there are also disadvantages he does choose to testify.

If he testifies against the suspect the disadvantage he would risk the criminal sending someone after him who could harm him. Joe is terrified of also being murdered. He thinks if he does testify he will have to request to become a part of the witness protection program.

Joe is extremely conflicted about what he should do. Joe Grayner can also decide not to testify against the suspect in court. Again there will be both positive and negative consequences to this decision.

. The positive advantage is that Joe won't have to worry about being killed because of his testification. He doesn't like getting into trouble just minds his business.

The disadvantage is if my friend decides not to testify in court against the suspect he too might serve jail time for not testifying. Also the judge can also have a DA reject for not having enough evidence and my friend not testifyng. The dangerous suspect could get away with murder and be released back into society.

Police ARE ... and what S Z said ... because there is (not THEIRS) much that needs correcting.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
