I see that you are a published poet and short story writer. How can one get published?

My first published poem I had sent into a newspaper. A short story I had written was published through a contest that I heard about which they bought from me for $100.00. There are some hubs on this site about how to get published.

Check in your local paper for any upcoming contests that you may want to enter. I also had a story bought off of me from posting it on a website. I will go now and check out your hub.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
