Try American Artist Magazine The child can see artists who are working in the field. It appeals to a wider audience If you want to show them artists whose work is being shown and purchased by serious collectors, try exposing him/her to Fine Art Connoisseur Magazine. See how the child responds.
Don't forget to check out websites of working artists online. Don't underrate a website, collectors and patrons have located artists and commission major works as a direct result of first looking at their work online. Sources: personal .
I was a middle school art teacher and would suggest The Artist's Magazine. This magazine has lots of tips on techniques for young artist to try as well as images to draw inspiration from. I used it occasionally in the classroom, and have a subscription myself.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
