I want to set up an exercise room at new house. Besides a bowflex, what should I have?

It depends what you want to do, for cardio, an Elliptical machine is excellent and less stressful on the joints than a treadmill. Secondly, a fitness ball. It's excellent for situps and I even use it rather than a bench for bench press and the like.

Lastly, dumbells, you can do so many things with dumbells. Actually, i've been working out in my basement for about 12yrs now and I've never used more than 1 fitness ball, 2 dumbells with an assortment of weights, a barbell and a punching bag. I see no need for a bowflex.

Check out the article below, there are a zillion more like it. There's an entire Men's Health book dedicated to Workouts and each one has a Home Gym, No Gym alternative. It's totally worth the price.

All of the above mentioned are great... and towels to wipe off the sweat on your face ... a laundry basket for sweaty towels! ... a place to keep drinking water. :).

You don’t need to have any other equipment. The Bowflex is an all-in-one gym. You can build muscles, and tighten your arms, chest, legs, muscle, abs, shoulder and even back.So just buy a quality Bowflex.

I would suggest a treadmill and/or a type of cardio machine. The bowflex is great for strength training but have to make sure there is cardio as well.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
