If I have a sore itchy throught and I don't think its a cold what could it be?

Possibly allergies. FWIW I also tend to get a itchy throat when I'm overly tired.

Itchy throat might be a sign of candida infection, allergy, acid reflux or tonsillolith (stones in the tonsils). "runny nose sneezing coughing sore throat" are signs of post nasal drip due to sinusitis or acid reflux. Headache is a sign sinusitis.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
