If I play electric guitar, does that mean I could play acoustic?

Hello there I agree with TommyMc's answer (as usual). The guitars are the same in the vital matters. The notes on the neck and tuning etc. You can play a song on the acoustic.

Then pick up an electric and play the same song in exactly the same way you played it on the acoustic. The differences in the guitars physically. The acoustic neck has 20 frets.

Most electrics have 21 or 22 frets. Most acoustics have wider necks. The profile (shape of the back side) of the neck may be different.

The radius may be different (the curvature across the fretboard). Because of the profile and radius, the necks may feel different. Most electrics have thinner necks.

However, the differences can be subtle. Just takes a little getting used to. The electric relies on its electronics for its tone.

The pickups and the volume and tone pots. You can adjust the volume and tone pots to fine tune your sound. You don't have that with the acoustic.

The bigger difference is with the techniques used in playing The basic techniques are the same no matter whether you play an acoustic or an electric. It is the advanced techniques used by some players that differ between the acoustic and the electric. Most beginners only have the basic techniques in their playing style so that is not an issue.

Later.

Yeah, you'll be able to play an acoustic if you can play an electric. It will feel different, though, so you won't be as comfortable on it at first. This is more true if you're playing higher up the neck (Past the fifth fret or so).

Also, it's a lot harder to bend strings on an acoustic (Unless it's a classical guitar). The action is usually higher, too. Soloing on an acoustic is very different, and you wouldn't be very good at it, if you just switched to electric, most likely.

But for most playing, you'd be just fine.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
