If Mark doesn't mention the virgin birth or the resurrection of Jesus - and is the main source for Matthew & Luke...?

Due to the nature of the Jewish culture, Jesus didn't like to "testify of himself". A person who testifies of themselves is promptly considered to be a liar. If He were to try to prove Himself by speaking of the circumstances of His birth directly, then the effort would have backfired.

Instead, He let His actions speak for Him. While the nature of His birth was initially a stumbling block for many, as they didn't expect Him to come from Galilee, those who were open to hearing the truth eventually came to accept Him for who He was. As for the rest of us, He had His beloved apostles share the story of His birth with us so that we could see the scriptures fulfilled in Him.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
