If you could write an alternate history novel, what event do you think would be most inspiring?

Offhand, I would say Obama loosing the 2008 election but I'll look forward to the 2012 elections for that story.

Mine would probably be an alternate to the bombing of Pearl Harbor.

The meteor from that cataclysmic event billions of years ago - never happened. That would be fascinating. What happens to the world then, with all these species that went extinct from that meteor?

How does it effect, our ancestors? How does it effect present time?

Ah! There's so many! I keep coming up with more.

There's no way for me to choose. Fun question though. ^^ It'd be interesting to see what stories come out of these ideas.

I rewrite tler being caught and tried for war crimes, punished and living out his miserable life in a Prison in America living the most terrible life we could give him.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
