The photographer uses leaves,rocks,stones arranges them for his photos, one in particular I remember is one that the photographer arranged green,red,yellow leaves (and all colors inbetween) in a spiral and it was so meticulusly done that there were even leaves that were half colors to transition between red and yellow etc. Does anyone know the name of this book/photographer?! I don't know which book you saw it in-- it isn't in either of the two I have-- "Wood" and "Stone"-- but it sounds like something I saw that he did in the excellent film "Rivers and Tides.

Try andy goldsworthy I don't know the specific image you describe, but it sounds a lot like the work of British artist Andy Goldsworthy. By the way he is actually a sculptor, not a photographer.

I would suggest... I just bought art book that had several different photographers in it. This way you can find other artist that do the same thing for a variety. The havea few different versions of it.

One is under $10 and I think the other is a bigger version and its about $20. ITs called "the photo book" .

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
