Inkjet printer for photography. What is the best and easiest to use? Don't need wireless or fax features, just simple.

Very confusing, returning Lexmark X5650, it's an 'ink hog'. Looking at HP Deskjet F4480 All in one $31.99 uses usb. Twin pk.

Ink $26.47. Also considering HP Photo Smart C6380 @ $189.99 but it's wireless. I have a new HP Pavilion Elite HPE with Windows 7.

Can you give me some suggestions? Asked by HELENofTROY 10 months ago Similar questions: Inkjet printer photography easiest wireless fax features simple Computers > Hardware > Computer Accessories.

It is not the printer that is difficult to use. It is the software that comes with the printer or a third party software package that makes the printer setup difficult. I have a Canon i9900.

The new model is the Pro 9500 or Pro 9000. These are more expensive, but if you are serious about printing photos, the results are profession store quality prints. It has 8 ink colors so you get a much better color print.

A package of 8 ink tanks is $87.51 from amazon. That is about $10.93 a cartridge. Or you can buy them individually for about $15.00.

I have had my printer for about three years and I have changed the ink pack once. Canon also makes some less expensive models, the P4820 and the P4700. I use Adobe Photo Element 9 to edit my photos and print.

The thing I like about Canon is there is no expiration date on the ink cartridges. My HP has expirations dates and the printer knows when the cartridge is past the date even though there is still ink in the cartridge. So the HP will not let me print from an expired ink cartridge.(A way for HP to force me to buy ink.

)Take a look at the Canon and see what you think. usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/products/pri... com/cusa/consumer/products/printers_multifunction/photo_inkjet_printers.

Thank you WA, I'm going to check it out. I love the feature of individual ink cartridge colors. So often, I'll get an order for photo prints that use up the bulk of one color.

The wireless feature on many new printers worries me. I just want to plug it into the computer and get to work. I love to work with Microsoft Digital Imaging Pro.It's an older version, from 2003, I think, but I can work magic restoring old photos to orig.

I checked out the Cannons...wow, pretty high priced for me. I ended up ordering the HP PhotoSmart C6380 @ $200. It has the individual color ink cartridges which is a feature I really like.

Thanks again for all the help and info.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
