Is anybody else going to be totally alone on christmas?

I might be. I live on a separate continent from my family. I was invited to eat at this guy's place, but now they are being annoying and disrespectful (see my question) and i'm thinking of cancelling.

I've spent many christmasses alone and I don't like it. I've also spent some with not very close friends and it was just so-so. Many people are alone at christmas (ex: divorced parent with child at other parent's home, people who live far from family, who have no family...) I sometimes prepare a good luxury frozen or easy meal and a nice or even a few dvds.

There is no reason to be alone at christmas unless you wish to be...Call the local seniors home and invite yourself to make a dance or songfest even wheelchairs can dance and sedentary sorts have arms to wave like hula dancers check the hospitals to see if anyone there needs a special friend the nurses will know.

Well I am staying home with my family for the first time in chritimas. It will be soo cool. I am sorry you could do something to keep you busy .

Well I doiscoved that I sppent lot of time with my friends and my relaties but not my family so I decided to stay this chrtimas.

Kind of it'll probably just be me and my dad, my mom is out of the country, and my family doe'snt even remember that me or my dad exist, I've never gotten many presents either oh well. Me and my dad will get some food, and probably just spend time together.

Don't feel bad. I'll be with my family. Alot of us sometimes wish we could spend Christmas alone or just skip it.So just remember that.

Also tell yourself that your not alone in being alone. There are alot of people I'm sure who are in this situation too.

If this make you feel better, I have never had a christmas dinner or gift or anything.

I wish. I would get things done... I never have enough time.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
