Is eating meat "animal cruelty"?

First you'd have to define what a "factory farm" is exactly. I work in agriculture and don't use that term. It's a pejorative invented by animal rights activists to try and disparage agriculture.

I'm not sure what you mean by "horrors". The farms I have visited are well-run and care for their animals, whether they are small-scale or large-scale. If for some reason, you wish to favor products produced on small-scale farms, you are more likely to find them at farmer's markets, as some have said.

Organic producers also tend to be smaller, although not exclusively.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
