Is it against the law for a business to take money out of your checking account without your consent?

You authorized them to directly debit your bank account. They HAVE your consent. I am willing to BET the form you signed specifically authorized WEEKLY charges on whatever day THEY choose.

It is legal for them to take the money that YOU agreed to pay. If they did it at the wrong time by mistake, you need to take it up with them.

Anything taken away from a person against his/her will is always against the law.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
