Is it constitutional for the Mosque to be built near Ground Zero?(Conservatives only))?

Any religion which has radicals that are perverting their faith that attacks the US and kills thousands would have opponents trying to stop even the moderates of that faith from building a house of worship in the area of the attack. I respect Islam as I respect everyone's religion. However if the moderate Muslims cannot see that a Mosque ( or what ever they want to call it ) built anywhere near the Former WTC will be a Victory Monument for the Radical Islamic Fringe they are Ignorant or Perhaps Closeted Radicals themselves.

If you can remember on 9/11 many Muslim countries even our so called friends showed their people celebration and dancing in the streets over the destruction of the WTC before the network execs clamped down on rebroadcasting overseas news footage To quote I believe Chris Rock " let a few blacks get a good thing going and along comes a N! @@#R* to F&^K it up for everybody.

I don't like the idea, but America is a free country, founded on freedom of religion. They have a Constitutional right to build a church anywhere. Besides, It's being built a few blocks away.

And if you've been to that area, you'd see that the buildings are above 13 stories and it is so congested that a person at Ground Zero wouldn't even be able to see the building that the mosque will be in. Funny how people in a America scream about the Constitution when it effects their religion, but they don't mind poo pooing all over it when it concerns another one. Edit: Eye of Omen...it is NOT a 13 story mosque.

You should really get your facts straight. It is a 13-story community/cultural center including a mosque, performing arts center, gym, swimming pool, and other public spaces.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
