Is it possible to share session state between asp classic and asp.net?

The MSDN article you linked to is the best way. You can use cookies, hidden form fields, querystring parameters, or any number of other "workarounds" but all of them are hacks, and all have problems (security concerns, just don't work right, more work than a total re-write, etc.).

We had to do this for a couple of sites. As far as I know there is no easy way to do it.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
