Superglue May Kill Your Tooth's Nerve I understand that some folks have Superglued there crowns back on. I admit I have done this on 3 occasions (I have 3 crowns)... just out of frustration over not being able to find a dentist with an adhesive with enough strenght to hold the crown in place if I eat anything other than baby food! The vapors are harmful so don't inhale through your mouth.

The areas must be perfectly dry and free of any oil/grease. You must test fit the crown and work fast... if you glue it on wrong then you are sunk... you might not be able to get it off again and it could affect your bite. You put a small amount of the glue in the crown, then afix it and bite down on a piece of rolled paper to hold it for 20 seconds or so.

I hear that Superglue can kill the nerve... I kind of doubt that because it sets pretty quicky and is fairly harmless after it sets. If the tooth has a root canal the nerve is dead anyway. I have never had a crown come off that has been Superglued.... ah ha... maybe in thar lies the rub?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
