If they're old enough to be in school and at a grade level where they are receiving letter grades, they are too old to be spanked. (I am not quite sure what you meant by "hit", I thought maybe you meant spanking. I sure hope you're not slapping them in the face or anything).

And that's ridiculous to hit a child for getting a C on a test. A C isn't even a bad grade, it's average. I could see telling them to try a little harder next time, and if they're really struggling in the class and consistently getting C's, obviously the solution is to help them or get them a tutor.

I don't think hitting will change a grade on a test. I can tell you that when I was little we had these neighbors who I was friends with . One boy was an A+ student the other brother has always had issue with school, His father would always use the belt on him when ever he brought home a report card, It didn't change is grade much.

I don't think that is the answer. I can understand if they need a discipline but I don't think over something that small. Becareful becausBe carefulll grow up one day and resent you if you treat them like that over minor stuff.

And that can be considered child abuse. If they told anyone that you were doing that, Child protective services could become involved easily.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
