My dad is abusing my dogs!?

You call the police on that animal abusing piece of **** you have for a father ... and a man with anger issues like that, I would not be surprised if other members of the family have felt his wrath ... and it says a lot about the man your father is, people who abuse, hurt or kill animals have a serious psychological problem ... it can also be a precursor to psychosis and psychotic behaviour ... it starts with dogs and moves on to people ... how incredibly sad you have to grow up with this piece of **** for a father ... if you can not call the police, you must do the right thing and re-home the dog without your father knowing and just tell him the dog ran away ... you may love your dog but love means doing what is best for the animal and that is not living in an environment like yours ... and after reading this "question" I can not tell you how much I would like to witness your father having the crap beat out of him ... he is a coward that takes his aggression out on a poor defenseless animal ... you should enjoy the ten years of therapy you will require having had to grow up in this shitty environment ... call the police and stop calling the piece of **** "dad", use his given name, as that is not a father ...

Your father needs psychological help. He is probably getting some kind of kick out of it. Until he gets help I would try to keep the dog away from him.

You could also ask him to stop abusing the dog. Use the term "abusing", and he might get the idea. You might get a book on dog training from the library and let him read it, and you read it too.

Dogs are not people, and don't think like people. They don't intentionally try to annoy anyone. They are pack animals and you are his pack.

They feel abandoned and scared when they are not with their "pack" so he will whine until he is with them. That is why people who do not have the correct facilities or character or patience, should not get dogs. They are a 15 year commitment.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
