Is Niacin a good way to cleanse your system of unwanted toxins?

NIACIN a.k. A NIACIN, also known as vitamin B3 and also nicotinic acid, is essential in maintaing good health, but it wouldn't be my first choice as a "cleanser". It's effective in lowering blood fat levels and helps to dilate blood vessels, even though no one seems to know EXACTLY how it works!

People who should avoid high doses are people with liver problems, kidney disease, diabetes, heart disease, low blood pressure and it may also aggravate gout. There are many things that you can get from natural food stores that are good "toxin" flushers. I've used flax seed oil (cold pressed), drink lots of cranberry juice that is freshly squeezed and UNSWEETENED, AND there is a popular root that is particularly good for detoxifying your body; GOLDENSEAL.

I get it in the ground, powdered form and add it to juice or warm water and sip it like tea. There are many books on this subject that can be found at a naural health food store as well as at the library. Hope I've answered your question and given you a valid starting point!

Good Luck! >> P.S. I just found a book in my library entitled "THE DETOX DIET"--the how-to & when-to guide for cleansing the body of: Sugar, Nicotine, Alcohol, Caffeine, Chemicals and More. The author is Elson M.

Haas, M.D.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
