Is the (system)designed to keep the poor, poor, and the rich ,well rich?

For example 2 men want to buy a new car one of the men is fairly wealthy the other just a poor working slob, the rich guy does a cash deal and they knock off a couple of grand off the price. The poor working guy has to get a loan and pays the dealership almost full asking price and then by the end of the loan pays about one and half times for the same car. The system seems to give to the rich and make the poor pay twice.

And it's not just auto's it's almost everything,am I wrong? And if so please explain. Asked by Squeeky-changes-suck 22 months ago Similar questions: system designed poor rich Uncategorized.

The system is not "designed" at all. The original "design" was to not have anyone involved in dictating anything. And the Soviet "Five Year Plans" proved how good an idea that is, to not try to be involved.

Rather, the poor are poor, but still work for a living. Rather than feeling bleeding-heart-sorry for them being poor, we should look at their situation and what they're doing about it. When they're in the market, do they buy food, or food and junk to keep the undisciplined children quiet.

I mean it. I tutor under the NCLB provisions and I see what these people have: small house, lotsa people, expensive television. What they should be doing is working (like they are) but saving that money until they have enough to invest that money and what they have becomes more money.

Many poor have become at least middle class by doing exactly this. The (formerly) Republican idea was to simply minimize taxes so that the worker could save more and accumulate more quickly that minimum needed to then be investing and both working and having one's saving increase by investments. This happened, and theoretically can happen again, except that right now the government must tax the wazoo out of everyone to pay off over ten trillion dollars owed all these enemies of ours.

Car? Save to buy a used car with cash. DON'T BORROW MONEY, EVER..

1 This is a silly example, designed to attempt to prove the asker's point. As well, it is not even that accurate, and the wording is done to make you feel sorry for the poor slob, as opposed to the rich fellow with all that money. Paying cash for a car is not always in the dealer's best interests.

They would much rather see you get a loan, as they make more money. The dealer gets their money up-front anyway, but with a loan, they often also get a kickback from the loan company. Next, pay cash for a car, and you lose the interest that you would get from investing that money elsewhere.

Admittedly, car loans are often at a hefty interest rate, so it may be difficult to match that rate as an investment. At the same time, I have often seen car companies so desperate for sales lately that we have seen no-interest loans to be found. The system DOES allow someone with knowledge and education about how things work to get a better deal though.

One can use the internet to find the real cost that your dealer has for the car. This tells you how far you can bargain them down. And once they see someone determined to get a good deal, someone who knows what numbers are realistic, you can get that deal.As I said, all of this requires only the ability to get on the internet, and you can get there for free from any local library.

As far as that working slob goes, they can be far better off than the rich guy anyway. If you are willing to buy a used car (not from a dealer, who will try to rob you blind), you can often get a good deal on a car that only needs some minor work. If you are willing to do that work for yourself, then you are far ahead of the guy who pays full price for a car that depreciates a huge amount the day they drive it off the lot.

So, if you want to push a communist, rise of the working classes agenda, feel free. That is your right, accorded by free speech. Just learn to use better arguments or you make yourself look silly.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
