Is the fuel pump switch and reset button the same?

Yes this is a safety feature found on some cars that is an inertia switch. Power is cut to the fuel pump whenever the car is in an accident. You push the switch to reset it and restore power to the pump.

There is also a fuel pump relay, that is sometimes called a switch, although it is not actually a switch. This relay closes and turns the fuel pump on when the ignition is turned on. It will stop the pump if the engine is not started.

We replaced the high pressure fuel pump that time, and the next time, when it died in a parking lot, we replaced the filter. The next time, as I was pulling into a parking space 20 miles from home, it did the same thing. As I sat waiting for my wife to come get me, I heard a "click" that I couldn't place.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
