Is writing a passion for you or simply a tool you employ to earn money? Explain?

Well it must be a passion since I have yet to look into the money part. I started writing to get bad things happening in my life I could not control (for my mother really) and that was over a year ago and I don't believe I have gone a day since I started that I don't write and so many directions I am not sure which I would choose if I had to choose just one. Probably poetry and I must be pretty good since even putting FICTION on the heading doesn't convince everyone ALL this couldn't possible be happening to me!

Thank you for the chance to say that.

Definately a passion, I've made a point of not using the accomadations they have here for making money. I can understand the idea of writing comprehensive articles on products to get a little extra cash, but that really doesn't interest me. I can also appreciate setting all of that up just to rake in a few bucks, however little may come my way (which I might do at some point), but currently, I'd prefer to let my passion for it be my sole motivation.

I suffer from misusing words and poor grammar myself from time to time, that's why I feel it is such an important topic to discuss or write about, especially for a writing community such as ours. I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
