It's been a week and half since I broke my wisdom tooth...Should I be watching for signs of infection?

2 Sarah:I've had some broken teeth myself. If your tooth is infected or it is dying, you will feel pain as this happens. It can be pretty intense pain too.

If you aren't feeling any pain, this is not an immediate emergency. There are some places where you can get free or reduced dental care, but they are pretty hard to locate. Start first by looking for a dental college in your area.

They will often at least do an exam for you at a reduced price to tell you what needs to be done. You can also go to a traditional dentist and they will work out a payment plan with you. Also, if you are experiencing tooth pain, an immediate solution is to buy some toothpaste for "sensitive" teeth and start using that.

Its sold right next to the ordinary toothpaste in health and beauty departments...

They may have some info about low-cost or sliding-scale dental care available in your area, or at least within commuting distance. As to signs of infection: pain, including throbbing pain at or near the site of the broken tooth, fever, swelling of the gum or other nearby tissue, drainage, can all be signs of infection. I hope you are able to get help with this soon, and that you don't develop an infection before you can.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
