I'm pretty sure if you restore it, iTunes will treat it as a new iPod and should let you download that update for free. I remember my friend had a first generation iPod touch and had a problem with it and had to restore it and when she told me it gave her the 2.0 update. However I'm not so sure if you'll get the 3.0.
But If you are considering getting the 3.0 update anyway, then you should just restore it and download the 3.0 update even if it requires you to pay $10 because you will have had to pay it anyway and it will include the "January Update", the 2.0 Update, and (of course) the 3.0 update. So to sum it up, you may or may not get the 2.0 update for free if you restore but if you were just gonna buy the 3.0 update anyway, then do so because everything previous to that will be included.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
