Just out of curiosity, I would like to know what you think of my question. See the details below. Are you a baby boomer, how do you feel about being one?

And if you're not a baby boomer, how do you feel about them? Thank you- g o new-b Asked by IOU-0 56 months ago Similar questions: curiosity question details Society.

I think it's a perfectly valid question You seem to be looking for an answer about the quality of the question rather than an answer to the question itself. I think it's a perfectly legitimate question. What I like best about it is that it's not exclusive.

I don't like being excluded from the possibility of answering a question because it's targeted to a very narrow group. Since this question's clauses allow for anyone to answer it, I appreciate that fact. Not being a baby boomer myself, I would not be able to answer this question without the "And if you're not a baby boomer..." clause.

I don't believe there's anything derogatory or offensive about the question, if you're asking that for some reason. Though the question is about a specific group of people, I don't see any reason why anyone would provide an answer that would violate the code of conduct. I don't necessarily like the idea of making broad generalizations about a group of people, but since the question is inclusive of the group in question, I don't see anything wrong with it.So, I repeat, I think it's a perfectly valid question that's constructed in a very fair way.

And to answer the question itself, I'm not a baby boomer and neither are my parents. They're too old, I'm too young. My experience with baby boomers is through friends and people I've worked with. And I have no particular feelings about the group one way or the other.

They're just people like me. A little older perhaps, and certainly they've had different experiences, but otherwise I don't really make a distinction. I hope that helps!

1 The boomers came later and I do wish they would think before they chatter away. I admire their enthusiasm. I even like energy.

But they find so many dead ends.

2 EddieNygma, regarding your answer "I think it's a perfectly valid question":Thank you for answering my question, I'm using the talking typing dictation software. Instead of my keyboard, and I should have been writing out loud. Instead of thinking out loud, and the intent of my question was lost, because I miss worded it.

But you got past that thankfully, and answered my question. My question was meant to be inclusive, I appreciate your kind words about that, I also appreciate that you answered my question outside the box, your answer brought another dimension that I had not foreseen when I asked it. You have very understanding ways about you and I appreciate it, and I appreciate your answer, because the worst thing that could happen in Askville is to ask a question.

And nobody came to answer it, so thanks for showing up, it made asking all the more worthwhile- g o new-b .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
