Labor force = unemployed + employed labor force participation rate = labor force / Population unemployment rate = unemployed / Population Usually people specific rates as percentages. If you want the percentage of unemployment you multiply unemployment rate by 100.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
