Looking for English-Elvish translator...more inside?

First, there are different Elvish languages. You maybe knew this anyway, but since you didn't mention it, I thought I would point it out. If you want to take something in English, translate it into say Quenya and write that in the Tengwar script, you could try the following: 1) Ask someone to help you with the translation, using a forum thread like this one: forums.theonering.com/viewtopic.php?t=57868 The Official Quenya Translation thread - onering.Net 2) Take the text of the translation once you're happy with it, and transcribe it using something like this: tengwar.art.pl/tengwar/ott/start.php?l=en online Tengwar Transcriber Since you want to use it for a tattoo you could choose the output format as a PNG image and print it.

You might also want to try asking @tracebooks. She's enough of a LOTR geek to give Quenya middle names to her children, so she may have more recommendations. EDIT: I might've misunderstood the question.

Are you looking for recommendations of people that you can ask to translate for you, rather than sites you can use? I'm afraid I don't know anyone personally, but apart from @tracebooks, you could ask @mithrandir, @albanian, or @cheapgamer and see if they know anyone. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
