My 19 inch digital TV has rabbit ears; do I need a converter box? Or an antenna?

It is a Sharp LCD 19 inch with built-in DVD player. I am pretty sure it can receive digital signals since I can request a digital channel and the menu gives me the strength being received. Currently, they are all zero no matter the channel selection.

The problem is that it says something like "the signal is too low; please check antenna hookup". Would a converter box be the best option or another antenna? Asked by alibaba20 36 months ago Similar questions: 19 inch digital TV rabbit ears converter box antenna Uncategorized.

If you aren't hooked up to cable or satellite, you will need a converter box by February. 76 days left of analog, to be exact. Go to dtv2009.gov/" rel="nofollow">dtv2009.gov/ for all your questions and get a coupon while you are there. It is the official site and should offer everything you need.

After February, no antenna will work. Sources: https://dtv2009.gov/ .

1 Just think a moment. You said the TV is digital already. You also said the message was "signal is low."

Perhaps you need a roof antenna. Or an amplifier.

2 What Gary said. DTV signals are in the same spectrum as highband VHF and UHF channels, so you don't need a big yagi antenna, but you do need one with a good s/n ratio and gain. A roof antenna is the best bet, but consider an amplified model made for DTV if that's not an option.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
