More than likely there is growth on the bottom of the hull and the drive and props are covered in barnacles. This condition will make an increasable resistance through the water. Lift the boat out and have it scrubbed off.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
