My camera got wet, a kodak easyshare digital?

1 THANKS TO ALL. As what I thought. Its probably junk now.

I agree with getting a new one vice repair also. There was a 2g card in it. I took it out as soon as I got the camera out of the water.Do you think the card and its contents are ok?

.

Sometimes you can resurrect electronics that have gotten dunked but it takes a while. You would have to disassemble it as much as possible and put it somewhere to dry out completely which can take days. But it's a Catch 22 situation, you don't know if it's dead until you try to fire it up...and if you do that while there is still water in it (or if it has developed corrosion), you're liable to short out the electronics and fry it for good.

If yours is thoroughly dry and still won't boot up, you might be able to get it repaired but, given the current prices on Kodak EasyShares, it's probably cheaper to buy a new one and save yourself a lot of grief in the long run.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
