My Comcast digital cable box has no HDMI connection, they connected it via a series of rca cables?

My Comcast digital cable box has no HDMI connection, they connected it via a series of rca cables Comcast gave me a digital cable box that has no HDMI connection. They connected it to HDTV via a set of 5 rca-type cables. I need instructions on how to connect a dvd and vcr to this by somehow coming out of the converter box, in to the vcr/dvd, and out to the tv and being able to record the high number channels.

Equipment is: Motorola HD converter box, Panasonic HDTV, sony dvd, mitsubishi vcr. PLEASE HELP.. I have never had a problem until all this HD mess started. Here are your most typical cabling setups FIRST OF ALL, Here is a picture of my box HDMI WITHOUT DVR DOES EXIST You will only get HD from the cable box to the TV by using ANYONE of these three cables -no other cables transmit an HD signal , 1- component cables (THIS CABLE DOES HAVE RCA PLUGS ON THE ENDS) -blue ,green ,red component out>> to component in on your HDTV set + AUDIO RCA for 2 channel stereo to your tv set , OR ; digital co-ax or fiber optic cable for surround sound to a surround receiver 2- DVI cable - Digital video interface + either one of the audio setups in #1 3-HDMI -HIGH DEFINITION MUTIPLE INTERFACE - both HD PICTURE AND SURROUND SOUND (2 CHANNEL IF IT JUST GOES TO THE TV SET) Now you have several options for your DVD and VCR . You have a standard definition DVD player . This DVD will not pass HD content from your cable box to your HDTV SET , so you might as well use RCA CABLES FROM YOUR CABLE BOX to the DVD White ,Red , Yellow THE SAME CABLE OUT TO YOUR NON HD Video IN connections on your set (if you have them -you should ) and just use co-ax from the cable box to the VCR to the tv set -Just switch the input source on your tv from 1-HDMI to> 2video in DVD> 3to coax VCR, to go from one source to another , set your DVD AND VCR TUNER TO Channel 3 or 4 and you can watch any channel on the cable box through these machines, Sources: Semi-retired AV TECH AND Electrician .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
