You probably have a problem with the plug in jack on the bottom. If it doesn't bother you, i'd probably just let it go since it could be expensive to fix. Try restarting the phone though I think its a hardware issue.

There are lots of repair shops where you can send your device for testing. It needs to be tested using electronic test equipment.
