Each state is different, so there is not pat answer to this question. Chech the laws in the state(s) you were convicted in. If you can afford to, hire an attorney..

The only way to do this is to get a 'Pardon' from the Governor (if prosecuted by the State) or the President of the U.S. (if prosecuted by the Federal Government).

If you are trying to get your record expunged, you are out of luck - you can only get one charge removed, and it is expensive to do. Since you have numerous charges, there is no point in spending that money. If you want to right to own a gun, sorry, that is also not going to happen.

That is not a right that you can get back after being convicted of a felony. It varies from state to state about getting back the other rights - serving on a jury, running for public office, getting a professional license. You can get these back if you ask for a background investigation and a hearing granted by a judge after remaining crime free for a certain number of years - in some states 15.

My advice - get a lawyer that knows about these issues.

2 My ex-husband's brother didn't have anything restored until 8 years after he finished with parole - mainly because he had multiple convictions. He still could not hold a professional license, never can own a gun (that is good), never was able to get his record ex-punged. I think his big accomplishment was being able to serve on a jury, again.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
