I'll do my best to help you. Actually you can, as long as you know the serial number you can find it. Give the serial to the police and whenever the idiot pawns it or tries to sell it, EVEN go online with it, they'll have your PS3.

Don't listen to all these people, I had a PS2 stolen once and we had it back in 2 days because of the serial. If you registered you PS3 then the playstation website has your serial number stored just login and and click on your name and your hardware that you own will be displayed. Then select ps3 under hardware registered and it will display your ps3 serial Number.

Give that number to the police. Also contact all teh gamestop and eb games places and pawn shops and fax them the serial number of the stolen ps3. Ts way if and when the person trys to sell it they will get busted.

Contact sony as well especially if it was stolen and give them all the info, because if you have auto login them the person can use your account and if you had a credit card attached to the account they can download with it. So contact sony asap. Unfortunately alot of easy to sell electronics get ripped off and sold to pawn shops so users can get their 6 dollar URL1 make sure you give the police that registration number so they can contact the pawn shops.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
